Join Selux as an Applications Technician or Applications Engineer.  You will work closely with the Sales and Engineering departments to provide support for the Selux product line, engineering, and manufacturing through the creation of fixture layouts and technical support for the sales force.

 

Pay range: $25/hr - $34/hr

Full time

Monday – Thurs 7:30 – 5, Fri 7:30 – 11:30

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Solid Works
  • Knowledge of architecural drawings preferred
  • Lighting Experience a Plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be authorized to work in US, visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Create submittal drawings utilizing AutoCAD for customer’s interior, exterior and custom projects including BOM.
  • Create layout drawings utilizing Solid Works for customer’s interior and exterior projects, including BOM.
  • Evaluate change requests for comprehensive feasibility
  • Revise change existing drawings per change requests as needed.
  • Manage drawing queue diary by checking daily.
  • Collaborate with other application technicians on projects.
  • Maintain standard product CAD sheets.
  • Check other application team member’s projects.
  • Participate in scheduling workload.
  • Provide Technical support to Inside Sales and Quotations.
  • Maintain and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain high accuracy of drawings.
  • Takes ownership of all aspects of the drawing process, using critical, creative and innovative thought processes when looking for solutions to challenges
