Join Selux as a Manufacturing Engineer with our Production Team.  Support the manufacturing process by ensuring all engineering processes and compliance requirements are followed in order to help drive production efficiency and quality standards in accordance with company goals.

 

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000

Full time

Monday – Thurs 6am - 4:30 pm

Qualifications

  • BS degree in engineering and 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing
  • Working knowledge of basic electrical theory
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Practical experience with metal cutting, welding, grinding, forming, punching and powder coating processes.
  • Practical experience with implementing lean manufacturing concepts including those related to JIT, inventory management and quality control

Responsibilities

  • Implement manufacturing-related process improvements based on lean manufacturing

    concepts.

  • Develop and assist with implementing quality standards and inspection procedures for incoming parts and final

    products.
  • Develop and assist with implementing parts routing procedures and work center structure.
  • Design parts fixturing and custom manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform Labor time studies for product costing purposes.
  • Liaison between product engineering and manufacturing to help solve problems related to BOM’s and those related to part form, fit and function.
  • Assist product engineering with the design of manufacturing-friendly products
